A 5-year-old boy was flown to Dunedin Hospital after suffering a medical event at the Kakanui School pool last Friday.
The boy's mother pulled him from the water and then his father administered CPR.
A police spokeswoman confirmed they were called to the scene and the boy he was flown to hospital for observation.
Police had no further details on the child’s condition.
